About the role

We are seeking an Finance & Accounting officer to oversee our financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure financial health and support strategic decision-making.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and payroll
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations in Tanzania
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
• Develop and improve financial processes and controls
• Support leadership with financial analysis and reporting

What we're looking for

• Deploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or ACCA qualification preferred
• knowledge of Tanzanian tax and regulatory requirements
• Knowlage in accounting software (QuickBooks)
• High attention to detail and integrity

Nice to have

• Experience in tech startups or e-commerce companies
• Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
• Experience with multi-currency accounting
