This Supplier Privacy Policy describes how TourVigator ("TourVigator", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects, and discloses Personal Data relating to activity providers, tour operators, guides, attractions, businesses, and other travel service providers who register, apply, or operate as Suppliers on the TourVigator Platform ("Suppliers" or "you").
TourVigator is registered and based in Zanzibar, Tanzania, East Africa. Our Platform is available internationally and may allow Suppliers located in Tanzania or in other countries around the world to list and sell Activities to travelers.
"Personal Data" means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Depending on your relationship with TourVigator, this may include information provided by you during registration, verification, communication, booking, payment, payout, account management, or use of the Supplier Portal.
Where information relates solely to a legal entity or company and does not identify an individual, it may not constitute Personal Data. However, information about directors, owners, employees, representatives, beneficial owners, or other individuals associated with a Supplier may constitute Personal Data.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Supplier Terms and Conditions and other applicable Platform policies.
This policy has been drafted in English. Any translation is provided for convenience. Where permitted by applicable law, the English version will prevail in the event of an inconsistency.

When you create and manage Activities on the Platform, we may collect information about your business and Activities, including descriptions, photographs, videos, pricing, availability, destinations, meeting points, schedules, policies, contact details, participation requirements, and other information submitted through the Supplier Portal.
Some Supplier information may be displayed publicly or shared with customers where necessary to operate the marketplace and facilitate bookings.
Suppliers should not upload unnecessary Personal Data belonging to customers, employees, guides, or other individuals unless there is a lawful and legitimate reason to do so.
TourVigator may provide communication tools that allow Suppliers, customers, and our support teams to communicate about bookings, Activities, and customer service matters.
Communications sent or received through the Platform may be processed, stored, and reviewed where reasonably necessary for customer support, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, quality control, abuse prevention, or compliance with applicable law.
Suppliers should not use Platform communication tools to request or share unnecessary sensitive personal information or to circumvent the Platform's booking and payment systems.
We may collect Personal Data when you contact Supplier Support by email, telephone, messaging, support ticket, or other available communication channel.
This may include your contact details, account information, correspondence, technical information, booking information, and other information you voluntarily provide while requesting support.
To process Supplier payouts and related financial transactions, TourVigator may collect and process financial and payment-related information.
Depending on your location, payout currency, payment method, and applicable financial arrangements, information may be shared with authorised payment processors, banks, financial institutions, mobile-money providers, payment networks, or other financial service providers.
Payment providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.
TourVigator does not require Suppliers to provide payment information that is unnecessary for the relevant payment or payout service.
We may use Supplier contact information to send important administrative and service communications, including account notices, security alerts, booking information, payout information, Platform updates, policy changes, and operational announcements.
Where permitted by applicable law, we may also send newsletters, surveys, product announcements, educational material, promotional communications, or other marketing messages relating to TourVigator and its services.
Where consent is required for direct marketing, we will seek the appropriate consent. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the available unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting us.

No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Suppliers are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
We retain Supplier Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to maintain the Supplier relationship, provide Platform services, process bookings and payouts, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal requirements.
When Personal Data is no longer required, we may delete, anonymise, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable retention obligations.
