About this experience

Experience Tanzania beyond the beaches of Zanzibar with this exciting 3-day adventure to Mikumi National Park and a traditional Maasai village.

Your journey begins in Zanzibar with a morning hotel pickup and transfer to the ferry terminal. Take the ferry from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, where our representative will meet you and assist with your connection to the SGR train.

Travel comfortably by SGR from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro, enjoying the scenery along the way. Upon arrival in Morogoro, your private vehicle will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Later in the evening, visit a local Maasai village and experience an introduction to Maasai culture, traditions, lifestyle and daily activities. After the cultural experience, return to the hotel for your overnight stay.

On Day 2, enjoy a full-day safari in Mikumi National Park. The park is known for its diverse wildlife and open landscapes, offering excellent opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, lions and other wildlife in their natural environment.

Enjoy a full day of game drives with a professional safari guide, with time for wildlife viewing, photography and a picnic lunch or lunch arrangement according to the selected package.

After the game drive, return to your accommodation for your second overnight stay.

On Day 3, enjoy breakfast and prepare for your return journey. You will be picked up in the morning and transferred to the SGR station in Morogoro for your train journey back to Dar es Salaam.

Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, continue to the ferry terminal and take the ferry back to Zanzibar. After arriving in Zanzibar, our driver will meet you and transfer you from the ferry terminal back to your hotel.

This package combines wildlife, culture, train travel and Zanzibar island travel into one complete 3-day Tanzania experience.

What is the cancellation policy? ▾

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the scheduled departure. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before departure may be subject to charges because ferry tickets, SGR tickets, accommodation and safari arrangements may already have been confirmed. No-shows are non-refundable. If transportation schedules or severe weather conditions affect the itinerary, we will work with the customer to arrange an alternative solution where possible.
