Info: Wildlife sightings are naturally unpredictable, and seeing all members of the Big Five cannot be guaranteed. Your experienced guide will adjust the daily route according to wildlife movements, weather and road conditions to maximize opportunities for memorable encounters. The itinerary may be adjusted when necessary while maintaining the main safari experience.
Requirements: No special physical fitness is required. Guests should be comfortable spending several hours in a safari vehicle on uneven roads. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Please inform us in advance about any medical conditions, dietary requirements, mobility limitations, or other special needs.
Accessibility: This safari is suitable for travelers with basic mobility, but some game-drive areas and lodges may have uneven terrain and steps. Itinerary

Arrival in Tanzania – Welcome to Arusha

2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (6.00h)

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your Kiwia Africa Tours representative. Enjoy a private transfer to your Arusha hotel, check in, relax and recover from your journey. Your safari guide will provide a briefing about the Big Five Wildlife Quest and the adventure ahead.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10.00h)

📍 Tarangire National Park → Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park. Spend the day exploring its wildlife-rich landscapes, searching for elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and other species among magnificent baobab trees. In the late afternoon, continue to Mto wa Mbu and check in at Fanaka Lodge for a relaxing evening.

Fanaka Mto wa Mbu- Ngorongoro Crater

📍 Ngorongoro Crater → Karatu

After breakfast, travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular crater for an extended game drive. Explore the crater floor while searching for lion, elephant, buffalo, zebra, hippo and the endangered black rhino. After the wildlife adventure, ascend from the crater and continue to your lodge in the Karatu area.

Karatu - Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

Depart Karatu after breakfast and travel toward Serengeti National Park. Wildlife viewing begins as you approach the Serengeti. Continue with an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes and other wildlife before settling into your Serengeti accommodation.

Full Day Serengeti National Park

Set out early for a full day of wildlife exploration in the Serengeti. Your guide will follow wildlife movements and select productive areas for game viewing. Search for lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and other iconic African wildlife while enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Serengeti plains. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in the wilderness before continuing the afternoon game drive.

Serengeti National Park - Arusha

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife can be active. After breakfast, begin the journey back toward Arusha, with wildlife viewing opportunities along the route where conditions allow. Arrive in Arusha in the evening and relax at your hotel.
