After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants in large family groups, as well as buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, and a variety of antelope species. Predators such as lion and leopard are also present, often seen resting in trees or near water sources. After breakfast, descend approximately 650 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater supports a dense population of wildlife due to its permanent water sources, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hippo, elephant, and a strong population of lions. With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino. Visit Lake Magadi, known for flamingos and other water birds, before enjoying a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha.
